GDS Aircraft

Introduction

It's come to my attention, through numerous strongly worded messages, that I've been assigned the task of documenting our air force. In ass achingly pained detail, might I add.
Enough unnecessary commentary, this is a formal document, not your diary. – Hansuke

This request had been forwarded to FrW Lok-Riveria to take care of as I believe it falls under the " armory " category, which was met with my entire office door getting ripped out of the wall and her kicking my desk into splinters. This tells me that I am not the only one to get such an assignment.
I can't write documentation for shit, Iza. But fine.
OH OURS DON’T EVEN COMPARE YOU FUCKTARD. – Nahli
Nahli, please focus on your part of the job instead of cluttering up other documents. – Hansuke

Overseen and fielded entirely by the Aeronautical Legion, the GDS air force is comprised of everything from scout gunships to high hypersonic fighter jets to troop transports the size of an aircraft carrier.

A large difference is that, starting after the second expedition, all of our aircraft were built or retrofitted with Chaff reservoirs and gray conduits, allowing them to reach levels of hypersonic speed comparable to escape velocity while still keeping the pilot and crew safe.

Where armor is concerned, GDS aircraft are engineered with a material called Maelite which is a combination of ceramic and Allog extracted from Chaff. The result is an alloy that’s lightweight, yet as strong as the front facing armor of a tank. Though air doctrine still states that the best strategy to employ is "just don't get hit", which is usually done by going faster than most projectiles shy of a laser. How we went about creating that material will be covered later.

In this section of your manual, I will be covering the GDS air force, our weight classifications, armaments, and related minutia.

At least until this goddamn document stops being kicked back to me for revisions.
Such as removing this sentence. – Hansuke
