Foreword

From the authors, a few words of introduction:

I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the further education of our legionnaires, that they might take from this document a greater comprehension of GDS standards, procedures, and heritage. Ours is an organization of rigorous standards, capable staff, and unmatched results in the world of security, warfare, and enforcement. I hope that each day, readers such as yourself carry this knowledge with you as you represent us in the field, in the workplace, and in your own lives.
-FrW Hansuke Ito, Administrative Legion Chief Officer

Fuck you Iza. Find a ladder and say that to my face you inked up cow. -Iza
-FrW Nahli Lok-Riveria, Vanguard Legion Chief Officer

Who the hell keeps kicking this shit back across my desk for revisions?
-FrW Dr. Acris Baddarick, Science Legion Chief Officer

As Chief Security Officer for GDS, I am always appreciative of the chance to ensure you all have an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of securing our operations from both within and without. As my contributions to this document are minimal, I always urge any legionnaire with further questions to come see me, my door is always open.
-FrW Ye-Jun Kwan, Security Legion Chief Officer

There is simply no way that whoever edited my sections are not getting some form of carnal gratification from putting the words ‘ please revise ’ on each goddamn submission before kicking it back.
-FrW Azan Kinrados, Aeronautical Legion Chief Officer

Gracious, could this not all simply be added to our internal codex? It would be far easier for legionnaires to simply reference that on their info slates versus distributing an entire publication.
-FrW Desmond Williams, Armored Legion Chief Officer

Oh fuck off y’all, I already done wrote my stuff, ain’t writin’ anymore, scram outta here.
-FrW Lee “Sonny” Baxton, Mechanical Legion Chief Officer

The guidance provided in this manual is only meant to be that; guidance. What I present are not rules, but rather suggestions on how to take care of yourself and those around you. However, I always encourage our legionnaires, including you, to keep in touch with your chaplains. We are always available to talk, day or night, no matter what situation you may find yourself in. You are never alone.
The bar and gym are always open too, and I say that since it’s probably where you’ll find most of us (day or night).
-DcA Klein Maregot, Chief Chaplain, Vice Commander of GDS

I’m gonna be honest, I just copy-pasted my notes. Hopefully they’re legible.
-Rv Adrian Wicktrop, Chief Biologist of Glacier
